Tatreez patterns were once tied to specific towns and regions. After 1948, the tradition moved with its makers into displacement. For more than seven decades, it has continued across generations in refugee camps, where regional styles were shared, preserved, and transformed. In this design, the bands shift from structure to fragmentation, reflecting how tatreez evolved to carry stories of exile and a broader Palestinian national identity.
