Jumana El-Husseini, born in Jerusalem in 1932, was a Palestinian painter and sculptor whose work often reflected memories of her birthplace after her family’s displacement in 1947. This design draws from her artwork published in Shuʾūn Filasṭīnīyya, October–November 1975.
