Adapted from a keffiyeh sun motif in a 1979 Palestinian political poster by Hassib Al-Jassem. The keffiyeh became a broader symbol of Palestinian national identity during the 1936–39 Arab Revolt and later appeared prominently in Palestinian poster art.
