September Native is an archival streetwear project shaped by my Palestinian family history. My grandmother, known to us as Teta, left Jaffa during the 1948 war and later made her life in the United States, carrying memories of home with her. Her painting of Jaffa oranges reflects how place and memory endure across distance and generations.
Jaffa Oranges, painted by Teta
This collection draws from historic Palestinian posters, prints, publications and symbols, adapting them for contemporary clothing while preserving the context behind each work.
Some garments reference archival material directly, while others reinterpret Palestinian imagery through new compositions.
All net proceeds support the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), which provides medical care and humanitarian support to Palestinian children in need.
